Toms River’s Burlington, In The Old Toys R Us, Is About To Open

Things have been busy in Toms River at the site of the former Toys R Us on Hooper Avenue, as a new Burlington gets ready to open its doors.

In a Facebook post by our friends at Toms River Online, you can see that not only is the sign up for Burlington (formerly Burlington Coat Factory), but there's a large banner on the side of the building saying that they're hiring as well:

It's been about a year and a half since the Toys R Us in the Bey Lea Plaza across Hooper Ave from the Ocean County Mall closed in the wake of the company's bankruptcy, and earlier this year we told you that Burlington would be moving in.

I gave a quick call to the Brick location to check on the grand opening date, a few have been floating around in different publications, and the representative who I spoke with said that the Toms River location will be opening in October, but noted that there isn't a specific date yet.
