Your chance to comment on a planned improvement to the Garden State Parkway at Interchange 83 in Toms River arrives on June 26 in the township

The Ocean County Administration Building is the site of the public information gathering, scheduled to run from 4 until 7 PM, with an overview presentation at 5:30 PM.

Studies have been ongoing for the addition of an exit ramp fromt the southbound lanes. The public comment period is intended to help determine the best course of action.

According to information from the Ocean County Board of Freeholders, attendees will also be told of problems in the project area. Freeholders are hosting the session along with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
