Three-vehicle Fire in Stafford under Investigation

Three parked vehicles caught fire in a storage yard next to Typestries Sign & Design on East Bay Avenue in the Manahawkin section of Stafford Township shortly before midnight, according to authorities.

Stafford police said they initially received a report of a structure fire, but upon arriving to heavy smoke and flames, determined it was three vehicles. There was no damage to the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Stafford police, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigation Unit.
