There can definitely be times that we take home for granted. Especially those of us who are creatures of habit and more or less do the same thing every weekday. It's one of those things that we may not fully appreciate until we've been away for an extended time.

Many of our friends and neighbors were forcefully expelled from their homes by Mother Nature when Sandy blew through, and a lot are rebuilding now. As I mentioned a little while ago, I'm currently out of my home while work is being done.

I've been staying with family for a week and a half now. As much as I enjoy time with family, I honestly just want to sleep in my own bed at this point. The commute is different (and longer), it throws off your habits, and just makes you feel off kilter in general.

I'm hoping to get back home in the next day or two. It will definitely be nice to sleep in my own bed, sit on my own couch, and catch up with the shows I've been recording the past two weeks!

Are you a homebody? Do you miss it when you're away for an extended time? Tell us in the comments section below!
