The MTV Video Music Awards Will Be Live Form Prudential Center

MTV can’t get enough Jersey! The MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcasting live from Newark, New Jersey at Prudential Center! All eyes will be on us…the VMAs air in more than 170 countries on Sunday, August 28^th. Now that is it happening in New Jersey will you watch on TV or go to the show?

The biggest names in music will perform, present, and will no doubt have some surprises up their sleeve!

I was so excited when my MTV contact reached out to let me know that 2022 VMAs are happening in our state. We don’t have a list of performers just yet, but when I get them I’ll be sure to post the list right here so you are the first to know!

We are extremely proud MTV has chosen Prudential Center to once again host its marquee showcase, the 39th Annual Video Music Awards. We could not be more excited to host one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated award shows and recognize the industry’s brightest stars while adding to the rich history of music in New Jersey.

This awards show will reach more than 420 million households. This is one of the biggest nights in entertainment and basically my personal Superbowl.
