The 6 Rides Six Flags Great Adventure Are Removing

We now know the truth and the rumors were all true. Listen, I'm not a fan of roller coasters, well some but not this one. It's a favorite of a lot of Six Flags Great Adventure goers. I can't believe Kingda Ka is being removed.

It's not just Kingda Ka, it's a lot of the rides we all loved at Six Flags.

I went to Six Flags Great Adventure this weekend, and it's crazy. It seemed like no rides were running. But, I snapped some pictures in the areas we weren't allowed.

Things have to always change, I know I know, but sometimes we like the things we always remember, too. Like for instance my favorite the sky ride at Great Adventure. Remember, months ago I wrote about this being removed and I just couldn't believe it.

I would wait in the lines just to get to the other side, flying high in the sky. I just loved it. And this ride was just incredible at "Holiday in the Park" with all of the Christmas lights. And, still going to the park like I did this weekend, I just wanted to hop on it and can't.

The 6 Rides Being Removed from Six Flags Great Adventure

Kingda Ka, Green Lantern, Twix Twister, Parachute Tower, The Sky Way (Sky Ride) and I would imagine Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom if Kingda Ka is being taken down.

It seems to me, the boardwalk area, most rides are going to be taken down, except for Superman. That ride is staying.
