Just last week I told you about the "30-Hour Coffin Challenge" at Six Flags St. Louis.

Well, news of the casket caper spread far and wide and the calls to bring the challenge to Ocean County have been answered!

So, now Six Flags Great Adventure is looking for half a dozen daring souls who think that they can handle the 30-Hour Coffin Challenge right here in Jackson.

If you're daring enough to dwell in a coffin for a day and a half, from 1 p.m. on October 28 to 7 p.m. on October 29, Great Adventure wants to hear from you!

The rules are simple:

  • You get one 6-minute bathroom break an hour.
  • You can't step out of the coffin for any reason aside from the designated bathroom breaks.
  • All meals must be eaten in the coffin. Kind of like this guy, I imagine:

The person who can stay in the longest wins a Great Adventure prize pack that includes $300 cash, a pair of 2019 Gold Season Passes and dining passes, and the coffin.

Yes, you read that right, according to Great Adventure, "the handcrafted (slightly-used) coffin is yours to take home."

Do you think you can hack it in a casket for 30 hours? Just click here to register!
