With the win Lexington grabs the Championship three games to one in the best of five series. It was a great year for Lakewood and as always the fans were fantastic as well. We are really proud of the organization and it was a great spring/summer.

It wasn't looking good for our Lakewood BlueClaws, trailing 5-0 heading into the ninth inning .... but five runs by the BlueClaws in the ninth sent the game into extra innings. In the 11th inning Madison Stokes broke a 5-all tie driving in Rodolfo Duran, who singled to start the inning, to give the BlueClaws the win in the Championship Series opener on Monday night in Kentucky. ...

Our very own Lakewood BlueClaws are in the South Atlantic League Championship! Spencer Howard threw a nine inning no hitter to lead the Claws to a 1-0 win over Kannapolis and into the Championship!

It was a thriller in Lakewood this afternoon as the BlueClaws turned a getaway day matinee into one for the team record books with a no-hitter against the Charleston RiverDogs.

The Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies Low-A Team) weekend series with the Met's Low-A Team, The Columbia Fireflies will be filled to the brim with fans and excitement for at least a couple of reasons. Minor League rivalry matchup? Maybe. Watch the red-hot BlueClaws prospects continue dominating early in the season? Perhaps. Watch 29-year old Tim Tebow play outfield for the Fireflies? Mostly certainly yes.
