The program begins with the Arrows of Time Reception at 7 pm, Followed by the Arrows of Time Show beginning at 8 pm.

Novins Planetarium at OCC has a day full of special events for St Pat's, including a laser tribute to U2.

This week I had the pleasure of being invited to a special preview of a new program at the Novins Planetarium on the campus of Ocean County College in Toms River. The program, which is a joint venture between the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts and the Novins Planetarium, is entitled "Resonances Boreales" .... ...

As you probably know by now, in only a few weeks we'll get a rare astronomical treat, as a widely visible solar eclipse will cross the sky in the middle of the day. There will be differences in what you'll see depending on where you are, however.

Want to view the eclipse without damaging your eyes? Head to Novins Planetarium at Ocean County College.

If you’ve done the pumpkin picking and hayrides and corn mazes and are ready for even more Halloween fun, consider going to the Novins Planetarium.  This month you can see special Laser Fright shows.  Featuring spooky laser images and a playlist that includes songs such as Thriller, Dead Man’s Party, Monster Mash and a medley of horror movie themes, you’ll have a howling good time...

I love going to the planetarium over at OCC in our pajamas for pj's night!  And this weekend and next sounds awesome with their laser concert featuring classic holiday favorites!  After Christmas, as a parent, I'm always looking for something for us to do...
