Last night, thousands of Ocean County families descended on downtown Toms River for a perfect evening for a parade.

Now THAT is a big pumpkin! When an Ocean County family planted their pumpkin seeds in the early spring, they didn't expect what they ended up with.

As many of us were getting through our workdays and grabbing lunch, an intense storm blew through Ocean County, bringing heavy rain, thunder, lightning, and even hail to some parts of the shore. I caught a time lapse video of the clouds passing over our Robbins Street office. Take a look:

Now that we're into October, most of the new TV shows of Fall 2014 have premiered. And, as always, some look promising and some looks like duds.
