"This Is Us" character William started courting a young woman he would see on the bus every day. This got me thinking about the wonderful people I've met in my travels. I mean the people that were literally sitting next to me on planes, trains, and buses. Have you ever made friends with someone on a bus or train? Are you still in touch?

It seems that each year, more of my friends are becoming "Empty Nesters."  Kids are going off to college, or have moved away to start a new job. While parents are happy to see their kids' spread their wings and fly, it can be a challenging adjustment to make after spending so many years living with them 24/7...
