It was another successful night on American Idol for East Brunswick's Jax as she makes the show's top 6 finalists.

An 18-year-old from East Brunswick, considered by many to be the front-runner to become this year's American Idol, is looking forward to wowing the judges, and the nation again Wednesday night.

East Brunswick's Jax continues to advance on "American Idol" as she lands in the show's Top 7.

Jersey girl Jax found out early on Wednesday night's "American Idol" that she made the show's Top 8 during Kelly Clarkson Night, which featured a twist in the voting.

East Brunswick's Jax brought some New Jersey flair to '80s night on American Idol Wednesday with a performance of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name" as she made the show's top nine.

Huge congratulations go out to Beachwood's Courtney Zahn! Not only did she make it through the auditions to the Hollywood round on American Idol last night, but she blew the judges away, with Adam Lambert saying that she's, "...far more polished than a lot of the people that come in here". Check out her audition:

The 14th season of American Idol continues tonight with auditions in The Big Apple, and an Ocean County local will try to score a golden ticket to Hollywood!

I think this could be it for American Idol. If it's not, maybe it should be.
