Summer 2020 Welcomes A New Taco Stand To The Seaside Boardwalk

It's hard to believe that it was almost a year ago to the day that I wrote about the fact that the Seaside Park boardwalk would be welcoming a new taco restaurant.

Well, the 2020 summer season is here, and so is Beach Tacos:

Beach Tacos opened their hard to miss mustard yellow restaurant a few weeks ago, and they've been posting mouth watering photos to their official Facebook page ever since.

With an amazing breeze blowing through 92.7 WOBM's RWJBarnabas Health Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio on this Friday afternoon, the temptation to sneak down the boards for an afternoon snack is plenty strong.

The new Beach Tacos building is just one of the new constructions that have popped up on the Seaside Park boardwalk in the last two years or so.

In 2018, a bunch of new building frames went up in the middle of the Seaside Park boardwalk. Some have opened, some have "coming soon" signs on them, and some are still in the construction phase.

It blows my mind to realize that the fire that consumed most of the Seaside Park boardwalk was almost 7 years ago, but it's been a long road to recovery following the double-whammies of Superstorm Sandy and the boardwalk fire, so it's great to see that buildings aren't just being built, but are opening and serving customers.
