Stafford man charged with selling lethal dose of heroin to Beachwood man
A Stafford Township man has been arrested for allegedly providing the batch of heroin to a Beachwood man that led to his death last month.
On December 5, 2018 Beachwood Police Detectives were called to a residence to investigate the death of 56-year old Steven Large and as the probe continued the Ocean County Major Crimes Unit and Prosecutors Office became involved in solving the fatality.
Investigators found out that the heroin in Large's system was provided earlier that night as the toxicology reports came back with the information that he had Monoacetylmorphine (Heroin) and Fentanyl in his system when he died.
The investigation led to the identification and arrest of 27-year old Jobe M. Bizzarro who was placed in handcuffs Wednesday morning January 16, 2019 and charged with the Strict Liability Induced Death of Large, Manufacturing, Distributing or Dispensing of Heroin or Fentanyl and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
Bizzarro is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
