Spider Causes Crash

Manchester police say a spider was to blame for a for a one-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say 41-year-old Thomas A. Buchko was traveling south on Ridgeway Boulevard near the River Point adult community when a large spider lowered itself in front of his face.  In attempting to swat the spider, Buchko lost control of his truck and crashed into a utility pole.

He suffered a minor eye injury when his airbag deployed, but was able to be treated at the scene.
