With the recent trend of warm 'summer' weather we are enjoying at the Jersey Shore comes the beginning of etching our summer 'bucket' list.

Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. has confirmed the return of the 'Sounds of Summer' concert series which will kick off 6pm on June 29th at Veterans Park with a Motown tribute band 'Shadow's of the 60's' followed by a night of fireworks.

Other entertainers coming to the township this summer include: The Duprees, Gerard Esposito, Rock N' Rhythm,Sounds of the Street, the B-Street Band, The Infernos and many more from June thru September.

On August 3rd, Berkeley Township will host their 5th "Annual Night out Against Crime", where the Police Department along with First Aid Squads, Fire Departments and other will interact with residents while displaying all the equipment they use on a daily basis.

Mayor Amato also confirms the Berkeley Township Community Pride Day will be held September 10th at 10am featuring many groups and organizations from the area.

"As you can see we have a great mix of talented groups in our summer line up. Please come on out for a great summer of entertainment," said Amato. "We hope to see you at the show!!"
