This week's Pet of the Week is Tyson - he is ready for his forever home!

Tyson has such a sweet, smushy face that you just can't help but smile when you see him. Sadly his lovable little disposition didn't stop his owner from bringing him to a N.Y. veterinarian and asking that Tyson be put to sleep but luckily, when the vet couldn't find a reason to put this darling boy to sleep, they were able to take him and find him a safe place to go. That's where we came in. Tyson was brought to us at AHS/Popcorn Park by one of the medical staff that helped save his life and we just fell in love with this 8 year old bulldog/pit mix. Tyson is deaf, but so what? He gets around perfectly fine, knows when to sit and lay down, and is very well behaved. His whole body wiggles when you scratch his back and he just loves people, though he would do best with older children that won't catch him by surprise. Tyson gets along fine with most dogs that he meets and is such a happy and bubbly boy. He will definitely brighten the lives of the good family that gives him the great home that he's so deserving of.
