Dedicated Taylor Swift Fans From Around New Jersey Endure Pouring Rain To See Her In Concert
The first word I think of when I think of Tay Day Saturday in Toms River is "Amazing". So many fantastic "Swifties" showed up in the pouring rain for a chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift during her Metlife Stadium shows on Memorial Day Weekend. It will be a huge Taylor Swift set here in New Jersey and Metlife Stadium will be packed with her dedicated fans for the "Eras" tour, which may be the biggest tour of the year around the world.
We were lucky to have met all these loyal fans on Saturday. It was a day of music, fun, pancakes, rain, and Taylor Swift. Fans sang her songs, played games, and talked "Taylor" in the pouring rain as they waited for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Friday concert at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford. We met fans from all over New Jersey and a few from out of state who traveled all the way to IHOP in Toms River for a crack at winning the coveted tickets.
At times the rain was a total downpour, but the fans held out and huddled under umbrellas for the chance to see this show on Friday. Fans in some cases traveled over two hours to be a part of this summer-kickoff event and we can not say enough how much we loved your spirit, we wish we had a ticket for every single one of you. One of our best listener events yet for 2023.
