Share Your Favorite New Jersey Christmas Cookie Recipe
Tis' the season to share. And that's what we're doing. We are sharing your Christmas cookie recipes. Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away and that's when we do our baking with family, so why not share your delicious Christmas cookie recipes.
Recently, we asked on our Facebook page to share your favorite Christmas Cookie recipe. Everyone loves making cookies this time of the year. I remember baking with my Nana and Aunt every year making Christmas cookie cut-outs. We would ice them with pink and green icing. Christmas trees, angels, Santa, and so many more. It is such an awesome tradition and great memory that I passed on to my daughter.
My Mom made her "famous" chocolate chip cookies from scratch. "Famous" to the neighbors and friends of Quakertown, PA (LOL). She never used a recipe so I can't share it with you. Every year she would throw something different into her chocolate chip cookie batch. I remember helping her, she would cover the the entire kitchen with little balls of chocolate chip cookies. And, that smell, I will never forget it.
Here are some recipes our WOBM listeners shared. Thank you for sharing your traditions with us:
