An overnight fire at the Garrison Apartments Complex on Throckmorton Avenue in Eatontown has injured at least four people and displaced several others, according to authorities.

NJ.com reported the blaze broke out around 12:30 a.m., prompting a response from several fire and EMS crews.

Eatontown Police Lt. Lawrence Tyler told the Asbury Park Press at least two tenants were hospitalized and two firemen suffered injuries.

As many as 20 units are unihabitable, according to NJ.com. The Red Cross was assisting tenants.
