Seven Hurt in Lakewood Crash

A two-car crash in Lakewood sent seven people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

The Lakewood Scoop reports it happened around 2:00am at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Pine Street.  At least one person suffered severe injuries.

Investigators say both vehicles were coming from a nearby party, but they did not believe alcohol was involved in the accident.  However, another driver in the same area was arrested for drunk driving a short time later after being spotted driving on the wrong side of the road without headlights.
