HOWELL— A crash involving a school bus remains under investigation Tuesday, according to the Howell Township Police Department.

On Monday, at 2:50 pm, a miniature school bus was traveling south on Route 547 when it suddenly veered off the road and slammed into a utility pole on the side of the road, police said.

The school bus, which was carrying six children and an aide, is owned by D.A.G. Transportation L.L.C. out of Lakewood Township.

The children on the bus did not suffer any injuries, along with the aide. The driver, Jennifer Salus, sustained an injury to her hand.

Both Salus and the transportation company are cooperating with the investigation, police noted.
