It looks super swanky.

For ages, you've been asking what will open up at the former Charlie Brown's location on Kettle Creek and Hooper.  Finally, we have some answers.

People were disappointed when they found out the popular restaurant was closing its doors a few years ago.  Since then, the eatery has sat empty, and folks have been speculating on what should take its place.

Well, we finally know what's opening up at the former Charlie Browns, thanks to our friends in the What's Going There in Monmouth and Ocean Counties Facebook Group.  The group is a great source of information on new businesses.  That's how I found out what was replacing the former Super Foodtown on Route 35.

A new bar called Roxy's Bar & Grille is coming to town, and it looks super swanky! It looks like the bar is in the beginning stages of opening since they don't have much info up on their website just yet.  They are hiring for quite a few positions, such as line cooks, hosts, bartenders, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and food runners.

Roxy's describes itself as "a neighborhood eatery & cocktail bar."  The caption on the reel shared earlier also hints that there will be entertainment too.

I love it when a new bar opens up.  It's always fun to have more options in the neighborhood to throw back a beer or cocktail after a long day.

There's no word on when Roxy's Bar & Grille will officially open, but I'll be sure to keep you updated.  When the doors do open, you can visit them at 11 Kettle Creek Road.

is Charlie Brown's one of the old Ocean County restaurants you wish would reopen?

We're still dreaming of our favorite menu items.
