A 25-thousand dollar reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a teenager who stabbed an Asbury Park police officer this month. According to the Asbury Park Press, the reward is being offered by the NJ Cop Shot group who boosted the reward by $5,000 after earlier offering a $20,000 reward.

Lieutenant David Desane was stabbed above the eye after confronting two people behind an abandoned house on Washington Avenue on October 9th. He was injured by the teen during a struggle with another man believed to be in possession of a gun.
