A Passaic man won the $338 million jackpot on March 23rd, and here we are, less than two months later with a big prize.

Lottery spokeswoman Judith Drucker says in mid-January, the starting jackpot increased to $40 million. The jackpot increases after each drawing without a big winner have gone from $5 million to $10 million, thus growing jackpots faster.
"So we just encouraged everybody to go out there and get in the game and buy their tickets, and hopefully New Jersey brings it home once again."
Drucker says the second prize has also been increased from $200,000 to $1,000,000.
