Pothole Patrols Are Hard At Work In Ocean County

They're the annual scourge of drivers everywhere - after winter, our roads and highways end up looking like the surface of the moon, with potholes just waiting to ravage your suspension.

At best, you hit a small pothole and get a jolt. At worst, you slam into a gaping hole, causing major damage to your vehicle.

To give crews credit, I've seen a number of pothole patrols throughout Ocean County recently. And let's be honest, they've got an awful lot of ground to cover. Especially after this past winter's cycles of snow, ice, rain, cold temperatures, and somewhat mild temperatures. It's a perfect recipe for asphalt armageddon.
