Popcorn Park Zoo Re-Opens This Friday

It has been a tourist attraction for years and a sanctuary to many animals here in Ocean County. The Popcorn Park Zoo  in Forked River opened 43 years ago in 1977. The Zoo famous for it's "popcorn" that visitors can feed to various animals.

Over the years Sue and I have visited the zoo and enjoyed the staff and the work they do throughout the Ocean County community.

After being closed for several months, the Popcorn Park Zoo is set to re-open this Friday, June 26th. The Zoo, located at 1 Humane Way in Forked River, will return to normal hours this Friday....opening from 11 am to 5 pm. Admissions stop at 4:15 pm with Holiday closings at 2 pm.

The zoo has several new additions for visitors to check out and of course keep an eye out for the peacocks! Its always a fun day trip to the Popcorn Park Zoo and we hope to get out there very soon to see the new friends at the Zoo for this Sunner.
