A person aboard the 34-foot center console vessel was able to radio for help around noon. The Coast Guard responded with a helicopter and two boat crews.

The boat had taken on about three feet of water by the time help arrived. Once the flooding was under control, the Coast Guard escorted the boat to Schooner Island Marina.
