There's been a little bit of confusion today as residents on the other side of Ocean County got excited for a new location of Toms River's iconic OB-CO's Donuts.

But, while that statement isn't totally false, there does need to be some clarification.

A report earlier today on jerseyshoreonline.com (which has since been removed) announced that OB-CO's would be opening a second location in Lakehurst.

Amid a frenzy of excited social media shares, the publication was quick to clarify that while OB-CO's famous fried treats will soon be available in Lakehurst, it won't be a new stand-alone location of the Fischer Boulevard shop.

According to a report from our sister station 105.7 The Hawk, OB-CO's will be partnering with Lakehurst fudge shop Teacher's Recipe Gourmet Fudge on Union Avenue to distribute their delicious donuts to the western side of the county.

So, while there is truth to the report that OB-CO's is expanding their reach across Ocean County, it'll be through a partnership with an existing business, not a second stand-alone location.

The report notes that the plan is to be spreading the OB-CO's love to Lakehurst by Easter 2019.
