Crashing his car into a tree on Route 70 near Evesham Saturday morning around 9 am is the least of a North Carolina man's worries.

Medford police found multiple criminal and traffic warrants out for Keith C. Boyd's arrest in New Jersey along with a loaded .38 caliber revolver and five hollow point bullets in the gun and then additional ammunition was found in his backpack.

The 28-year old from Wilkesboro, North Carolina was brought to Medford PD headquarters and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of hollow point bullets and then given traffic summonses for an unregistered vehicle, an uninsured vehicle, failure to produce a driver's license, driving while suspended, being an unlicensed driver, having phony license plates and failure to maintain his lane.

He was then treated for right arm and chest pain at Virtua Hospital in Marlton then brought to the Burlington County jail in default of bail and will await a future Superior Court appearance.

The cause of the actual crash remains under investigation by the Medford Township Police Department.
