Medford Police looking for suspect who robbed business of Seven-Grand in cash
Medford Police have released surveillance photos in hopes you can help them identify a suspect who triggered a burglary alarm at Pantry 1 Food Mart on Tomlinson Mill Road Thursday around 2:29 am.
Police say one of the suspects threw a large rock through the front door shattering glass everywhere, then walked in, stole about $7,000.00 in cash and an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, but mainly Newports.
He then hopped in a parked out front and took off.
An early investigation by police found that two suspects cased the business about 10 minutes prior to the burglary.
They returned, police say, and parked a burgundy color Ford Crown Victoria in front of the business.
The driver is the one who got out of the vehicle and threw the rock through the front glass door.
After the deed was done, he got back into the car and headed north on Taunton Boulevard and then north onto Taunton Road.
Police describe the rock throwing suspect as a White Male, Thin Build with Black Footwear, Tan Pants and wearing #90 Jersey (Possibly Carolina Blue Color) which could be a Julius Peppers Carolina Panthers Jersey, Orange Gloves (lighter color palms) and was also wearing a Gray Hoodie with Black cuffs
