Enjoy the beautiful weekend weather now because the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ is keeping a close eye on the potential for a powerful nor'easter due in next week. The Weather Prediction Center told the Asbury Park Press that they're looking the type of storm that occurs every 10 to 20 years that could bring heavy snow and coastal flooding on Tuesday, into Wednesday.

Weather Service officials also said that the wave and wind action from this storm could cause heavy beach erosion along areas of New Jersey's coastline that are still vulnerable after Superstorm Sandy.

Meteorologist Alan Kasper will be watching the track of this storm and provide you with up to date information on our website.
