New Jersey’s Getting a Summer Tease This Week and I’m Loving Every Second
If you’ve been waiting for that moment when New Jersey finally flips the switch from spring confusion to summer vibes, this is it.
This week is bringing the kind of warmth that instantly changes everyone’s mood. The windows are going up, the iced coffee orders are back, and suddenly everybody wants to be outside.
Across the state, temperatures are climbing way above what we normally see in April, with plenty of towns jumping into the 70s and 80s, according to thedigestonline.com. Some inland spots could even flirt with 90 by the middle of the week.
Is it June? Nope, It's April in New Jersey
Honestly, this does not feel like spring. And I love it!
By Wednesday and Thursday, New Jersey is getting the full summer tease. These are the days that make you start thinking about beach weekends, flip-flops, and whether it’s too early to drag out the patio furniture. Some places could even come close to record highs, which is wild for mid-April.
Here at the Jersey Shore, we'll still get that cooler ocean breeze, but still warm! It’s going to feel downright hot.
The Warm Weather We’ve Been Craving
After all the chilly mornings, surprise rain, and those annoying days where you leave the house in a jacket and regret it by noon, this kind of weather feels like a reward.
This is the kind of week made for long walks, outdoor lunch plans, after-dinner sunsets, and soaking up every bit of sunshine possible. Even the nights are staying mild, which just adds to those perfect early summer vibes.
Enjoy This Little Summer Preview
Of course, it is still New Jersey, so we know this probably won’t last forever.
But wow, what a tease.
For a few beautiful days, we get to enjoy that magical stretch where it feels like summer showed up early just to remind us what’s coming.
