It all began with BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Soon after an Ulta Beauty, Five Below, LA Fitness, Homesense, Sweetwater's Coffee and Tea would come to be. This extension of the mall has developed very nicely.
The latest developments have been exciting with the super popular Turning Point restaurant scheduled for a September 27 opening.
Plus, P.F. Chang's will be joining the Ocean County Mall family soon. Can't wait for that Mongolian beef. Mmmm.
But, that's not all. APP's David P. Willis always has his pulse on what's opening at the Shore. Hope you like to dance because he is reporting that Downtown Dance Studio, currently located in downtown Toms River is moving to a much bigger space at the mall between Ulta and Homesense. An October 2 grand opening is scheduled.
The old Nino's Coal Fired Pizza next to Ichiban is getting taken over by Sola Salon Studios. This is a really interesting addition with a very cool concept. Sola Salon will have over 20 salon studios that can be leased out to hairstylists, manicurists, and other beauty professionals. So, if you're looking to get your own business going, keep an eye on this space. A grand opening is expected within the first few months of 2022.
Finally, the third addition will be inside the original Ocean County Mall. Windsor Fashions is set to open its doors on October 1. If you haven't been to Windson Fashion's Freehold Raceway Mall location, the store specialized in women's clothing and fashion.
I know it's not likely, but I'm still waiting for a Dave & Busters to open at the mall. There was a rumor that the indoor arcade was expected at the mall, but the buzz has died down.
