New Jersey has a new "State Dog" but it is not a certain breed nor is it a pure-bred or mixed breed. The Garden State dog is not small or large...male or female and why? because the new "State Dog" is the "Seeing Eye Dog"
Governor Murphy signed a measure this week making the service dog for the blind and visually impaired our "State Dog".
According to northjersey.com 12 states have designated state dogs, but New Jersey is the first to designate the guide dogs as a state animal.
