Pet of the Week

Sunshine came to us 4 1/2 months ago and her special someone has yet to come along and notice her. Doesn't anyone need a little Sunshine in their life? All you need to do is come to our facility and meet Sunshine, heck, you don't even need to meet her. Just walk up to run and once you see her gaze at you with her gentle, soulful eyes, you'll know that you need our Sunshine in your life. When you meet her, it's all over......she'll win you over instantly!

This pretty pit mix is only about 2 years old and she would smile even more if got herself a wonderful new home. Sunshine came to us when she was found as a stray, and we were surprised that no one ever came looking for her. She is such a pleasant, sweet, lovable young lady, and she's won us over already. Sunshine makes friends very easily and just loves everyone she meets. She seems a bit unsure of other dogs though, and would do best in a home with no cats. Sunshine is a strong girl, but very well behaved. She sits nicely when asked and is very easy going. She walks well on a leash and loves a nice run in our exercise yard. This deserving young lady is hoping to start over with a loving family that will never let her go and just think......she'll be your Sunshine, you're only Sunshine. She'll make you happy, when skies are gray!
