Sometimes we hear truly inspiring stories of generosity in the name of thanking our veterans, here's one that is truly heartwarming from right here in Ocean County.

George "Frank" Ball joined the Army in 2001. In the 16 years since he first signed up, he's completed three tours in Iraq, including one in 2006, when the Bradley fighting vehicle that he was commanding was attacked by an improvised explosive device (IED).

With a Purple Heart pinned to his chest, Ball returned home and has attended Portland State University and Stockton University to pursue a business degree.

As they plan a move to Barnegat, last week Wells Fargo and the Military Warriors Support Foundation donated a totally mortgage free home to Frank and his wife of 10 years, Tameka through the Homes4WoundedHeroes program.

We'd like to join Wells Fargo and the Military Warriors Support Foundation in thanking Frank for his service to the country, and to welcome him and Tameka to Ocean County!
