Investigators pore over evidence, and seek more information, connected to a fatal stabbing in Moorestown during an apparent house break-in before dawn Sunday.

James R. Doyle, 26, of Moorestown, was pronounced dead at the Hartford Road house from which a caller reported stabbing two intruders who entered his house at about 12:23 AM, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Moorestown PD Chief Lee Lieber.

Doyle's death was ruled a homicide in the autopsy results compiled Monday by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood.

Coffina said that the resident who called police has not been charged with any crimes during the continuing probe. Detectives area trying to establish wiheter any connection exists with a man who entered Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro on Sunday morning, with stab wounds in his leg.
