While several towns have cancelled some summer events for the Summer, Manchester is ready for concerts, movies, tournaments, etc.due to Covid-19 - with social distancing.

The Manchester Township Recreation Department hopes you enjoy your summer with some great events that might have been cancelled in other towns because of the coronavirus. They're hoping to give Manchester and surrounding residents some normality this summer, while things continue to be closed or shut down.

Manchester Recreation will have concerts and other events, as New Jersey eases restrictions on the number of people permitted at public gatherings, according to the patch.com.

There are events in July and August:

Wednesday July 8th: Concert at Harry Wright Lake - Juke Box Legends at 6:00 pm and New Power Soul at 7:30 pm.

Wednesday July 22nd: Concert at Harry Wright Lake - Gerard Esposito at 6:00 pm and Emil Stucchio & The Classics at 7:30 pm.

Wednesday August 12th: Concert at Harry Wright Lake - Stiletto & the Saxman at 6:00 pm and Stone Flower at 7:30 pm. 6 p.m.

Wednesday August 26th: Concert at Harry Wright Lake - Julian & Dominique at 6:00 pm and Garden State Radio at 7:30 pm. Fireworks will be at dusk.

Saturday August 1st: Corn Hole Tournament at Pine Lake at 10 am.

Friday August 7th: Luau at the Lake at Harry Wright Lake at 6:30 pm.

Friday September 18th: Movie at Pine Lake beginning at 7:30 p.m. The movie will be announced.

Friday October 9th: Movie at Pine Lake beginning at  6:45 p.m. The movie will be announced.

Grab your lawn chairs, your masks, and have fun. Remember Manchester Recreation wants to remind everyone about the social distance rules and remember to stay safe.
