I'm suffering big time with my allergies this year.

Does anyone else feel like their allergies have been cranked to full blast this year?  I've had bad sinus symptoms 4 times in the past few months.  It's even worse when there's anxiety surrounding Covid, and the symptoms are so similar.

Why are our allergies so bad this year?

Naturally, I had to look up why I went from having little to no allergy symptoms to being unable to function properly in such a short amount of time.  The answer was interesting.  According to Today.com, it has to do with a longer pollen season and warmer temperatures.

How do you remedy bad allergies?

I come asking for help.  I feel like I've tried almost everything - medicines, over-the-counter stuff - you name it.  There is one remedy I've heard about earlier, and I'm willing to give it a shot.

Someone in a Facebook Group told me local bee's honey is supposed to ease allergy symptoms.  Has anyone ever tried this?

An article from Bon Apetit says that local honey contains the pollen that is causing your allergies, and by eating it, you build immunity.

In a way, it sounds similar to getting vaccinated for illnesses. But a much less painful and tastier remedy.

I am going to venture out for some local honey this weekend and give it a try.  If you've had any success, feel free to chat with me on the 92.7 WOBM app.

Here's hoping you're able to breathe easier than I can this weekend!
