Local Author Hosts a Relaxing Contest for Mom’s

How would Moms out there enjoy a day of pampering and a makeover? This would be a fantastic opportunity for Moms to WIN, and a local author wants to give Moms a chance for a makeover.

Lauren Vena is a professional make up artist and her latest creative work is a children’s book entitled “My Mom ....The Best Mom Ever”. Lauren says that she got the inspiration to write the book after having a “Mom moment, morning”. Just one of those days and the inspiration for the book. Lauren says that her contest is a way to acknowledge all the great Moms here at the Jersey Shore.

Lauren says:

"If you’re a mom that sometimes feels like a hot mess, burns dinners, serves frozen waffles for breakfast and sometimes just can’t seem to get things right you’re not alone! Lauren Vena, local children’s author is on a mission to remind moms no matter how crazy life is, your kids love you more than ever and to them, you’re perfect in every way!"

According to Lauren's "Mommy Makeover" contest, along with with other New Jersey small businesses, the winning mom will receive:

• A complimentary photoshoot experience with  Jessica Cirz Photography (Toms River, NJ)
• Wardrobe provided by Lola’s Boutique (Manalapan, NJ)
• Hair styling by Salon owner Danielle Tush of Toms River
• Makeup by professional artist and author, Lauren Vena.
• The winner will also be featured in Bella Magazine
