I couldn't believe it when I heard the news, but it's true.

From the Jackson Skating Center Facebook:

Thank You for being loyal customers to Jackson Skating Center. If you have not heard already, Jackson Skating Center will be closing October 3rd, 2022.

Jackson Skating Center has brought decades of skating fun to Ocean County residents and beyond. After opening in 1978, they've had so many great years. I have so many wonderful memories.

I remember the first time I took Abby there, she absolutely loved it. She was 4. The price was great the skate rental was so reasonable. It's a place where we've laughed, met with friends, had birthday parties, and just had fun.

I had Abby's 10th and 11th birthday parties at the skating center, that's how much she loved it. And, let's just say the pizza was delicious. I don't know what they did to make the pizza so good, but it always was.

This is pretty cool, Jackson Skating Center is giving away a $5 off general admission coupon on their Facebook page now through October 2nd, 2022. Rent skates for $5 or bring your own.

I love how Jackson Skating Center wrote on their Facebook page, "Come and roll with us in our last coming weeks."

**I have heard rumors and I've tried calling the skating rink to find out the information, that is possible someone bought it and they're building a new one. That's what I've been hearing, we will just have to wait and see. **If I find out anything more about this, I will let you know.**
