It's nice to put your feet up and unwind by the fire. With all the added craziness that comes along with the holiday season, sometimes you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy a holiday cocktail.

Especially after a long day of shopping, cooking, baking, and wrapping.

If you're heading out to the liquor store to pick up a little holiday cheer, there's one cocktail that New Jerseyans enjoy the most.

When you think about what New Jersey's favorite holiday cocktail could be, what comes to mind?

My first thought was Eggnog. That's a drink I never developed a taste for, although many people look forward to it once the holiday season begins.

My personal favorite is the Cranberry Kringle Cocktail, which is vodka, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.

Of course, you have to add sugar to the rim of the martini glass!

So what is New Jersey's favorite?

According to Yummly users, the answer: is Prosecco Cocktail.

A sparkling wine from Italy. All you have to do is add a splash of Grand Marnier, a squeeze of lemon, and some orange zest to make it just right.

The state with the drink that piqued my interest the most is North Dakota. What's their favorite holiday cocktail?

White Chocolate Peppermint Christmas Cocktail, with peppermint schnapps, white chocolate liqueur, whipped cream, and crushed candy canes on top.

Sounds like a fun festive drink!

Alaska's holiday cocktail sounds good too. Peppermint White Russian, featuring vodka, coffee liqueur and cream.
