I definitely won't argue with those who believe that New Jersey is the pizza capital of America, with plenty of those outstanding pizzerias right here at the Jersey Shore.

Offering more proof of our pizza supremacy, popular internet pizza critic Dave Portonoy of Barstool Sports recently visited two Shore pizzerias to give his signature "One Bite Pizza Reviews".

Dave stopped in both Ocean County and Monmouth County to check out a pair of favorites.

First on the itinerary was the pizzeria that was recently named the best in all of New Jersey, Jackson's Brooklyn Square Pizza:

Next, Dave headed to Neptune to dine at one of my personal favorites, Pete & Elda's:

Of course, we could debate all day long about who exactly has the best pizza in the area, but I'd say that Dave made two great choices with his visits to Brooklyn Square and Pete & Elda's!
