Ikea Recalls ANTILOP High Chairs

A recall is being issued on 169,000 ANTILOP high chair sold by Ikea in the United States and Canada.

There have been several instances of the clasp unexpectatnly opening, posing a fall risk for the child.

The recall affects only chairs that have a manufacture date between 0607 and 0911 (YYMM format) from supplier number 17389.

According to Ikea's website:

Customers with an ANTILOP high chair are asked to check the supplier number and production date. Customers who have the affected ANTILOP high chair are asked to visit to contact the Exchange & Returns counter or call Customer Service at 603-7726 7777 to receive a replacement belt, free of charge.

No other high chairs are affected.
