Howell, New Jersey Police looking for man flashing women in store parking lots
Howell Police need your help locating a man who has reportedly been flashing women in parking lots across the community.
An initial social media post by the department prompted a victim to come forward Tuesday and provide a picture of what the suspects vehicle looks like to police.
It is a truck, likely a newer model of a Toyota Tacoma SX that is dark grey/black with black rims and a black grill with Pennsylvania plates.
The victim took the picture at Target as she told police, she felt the truck was following her in the parking lot.
The man police looked up because of the photo has a history of lewdness.
Howell Detectives are now looking for the man in the vehicle.
Police initially responded to the Howell Commons (Kohls) Sunday for a report of an act of lewdness that mirrors an incident they responded to on February 21 in the same shopping center.
They were then told by the victims that a man pulled up to them, opened his driver side door and exposed his genitals, to both of them.
Police have watched surveillance video of the area and said that the vehicle is seen driving throughout the lot, pulling through spaces and stopping near cars.
He is described as a male in his 30s to early 40s, skinny and in shape, tan possibly Hispanic, short spiky dark hair, facial scruff, but no beard.
If you know who this may be or you observe the vehicle, call Howell Police at 732-938-4111, reach out on Facebook or their anonymous tip line at www.p3tips.com.
