Here’s How To Help Southern Regional Fill The Field Of Flags
Leading up to Memorial Day Weekend every year, dozens of student volunteers gather on the front lawn of Southern Regional High School to complete a labor or love and honor.
The Southern Regional "Field of Flags" is an annual symbol of what Memorial Day is really about; no, I'm not talking about BBQs, beaches, and boardwalks, I'm talking honoring those who have given their lives in service to our country.
A flag is planted for every American service member who has given their life in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The students will begin the task of building the display on Thursday, May 24th, but before then, they're asking for our help.
They first need to purchase the flags that will form the display.
