Three months after Superstorm Sandy shredded it, one of the Jersey Shore's premier family attractions returns. Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach reopens for business February 1.

Jenkinson's Aquarium, Gift Shop and Sweet Shop are the first to welcome customers back inside Friday. Then on Saturday, the Pavilion Arcade, Frank's Fun Center, the South Arcade and Pavilion Fast Food return to operation.

Spokesperson Toby Wolf says that repair work will continue in various spots to stay on course for full functioning by summer. "We have cheered for every reopening we have seen on the Shore in the last few months," said Wold in a released statement, "and we are proud to finally make our own announcement."

Rides that removed from the Amusement Park before the storm are being reassembled. Jenkinson's 2 for 1 ride ticket sale is scheduled for its traditional Easter weekend launch, March 29 through 31, in person and at their website, http://www.jenkinsons.com.
