The biggest mystery in Ocean County started two weeks ago.

Patient sleuths will get an answer this week.

It all started on August 14th, when Six Flags Great Adventure started to sprinkle cryptic clues across its social media channels.

With a header of just "2020" and the clue number topping each post, it's clear that the theme park has been teasing something new for next year, but just what has been the topic of heated debate.

They even added a bonus clue to the cache of clues this week:

In a press release today, the folks over at Great Adventure teased us a little more, but also told us that the answer is mercifully only days away.

They're calling it, "a legendary and monstrous addition" to the park for the 2020 season, touting a, "unique and record-breaking addition".

The big reveal is scheduled for bright and early this Thursday, August 29th, with word dropping on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram simultaneously at 5 a.m.
