Just about three weeks ago, we told you about Six Flags Great Adventure's plans for Halloween 2020 that they're dubbing Hallowfest.

With the spooky fun set to start up heading into next weekend, with Friday, September 18th as the day that the zombies will take over the park for the following 6 weekends, the Six Flags Great Adventure team unveiled what they have in store for us.

As we told you about last month, Hallowfest 2020 will take two themes, "Thrills by Day" that will run from 2 - 6 P.M. and "Chills by Night" starting at 6 P.M.

Here's what they have planned:

Thrills by Day

  • Scarecrow Street
  • Pumpkin Patch Lane
  • Hay Bale Maze
  • Trick-or-Treat Trail
  • Magic on the Move
  • Cornstalk National Park

Chills by Night

  • Scarecrow Street After Dark
  • District 6 Unearthed
  • Lady of the Lake Cemetery
  • ClownTown

In addition, there will be a trio of shows, with descriptions courtesy of the Great Adventure press release:

The Emergence - "A horde of ghouls infiltrate the midways, emerging from a different location each night so guests never know where fear will strike".

PrimeEvil Percussion - "Driving beats hit the streets in this pulse-pounding percussion show".

Street Cirque - "Spellbinding performers bring their awe-inspiring talents to the midways throughout the heart of the theme park".

Hallowfest will also feature not one, not two, but 4 haunted mazes (special tickets required):

  • Mama's Farm
  • Apocalypse
  • Wicked Woods
  • Reflections of the Dead
